Busy, busy, busy

Seems I have been really busy, even though I don't feel that I am accomplishing anything!  Sent my mug rugs to my swap partner in Alaska -- 2 weeks ago!!!  She still hasn't received them!!  But she said not to fret just yet. Takes a bit longer for mail to reach her.
Went to a quilt exhibit with friends.  These were not for competition, just display.  At the Methodist Church in Robertsdale, Ala.  Some of the quilts were civil war era!  Beautiful things.  Made me feel very humble at the workmanship in these quilts. Here are a few of the quilts:

The tails remind me of "Monkey Wrench".  Can you find the rat??

Love this border!!

Those Methodist ladies really know how to feed!

The label on this one said "Quilt of 20,000 pieces".  We didn't count but it looked like more!

We were also entertained by the Jammin' folks.
I hope you enjoy the quilts.  I have more to post later.
Here's what I am working on for a craft show in April.  Being on the coast, we are already wearing our flip flops! It's been great weather lately.

I call these "Tutu flops".

I have enjoyed visiting with y'all.  come back soon..... keep stitchin'!  Marsha
